The website liavmatzri.co.il ("the site") is operated by Liav Matzri ("we"). We respect visitors' privacy and act in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 2017. This document sets out what information the site collects, what it is used for, and who it is shared with.
1. What information is collected
Information you provide in the contact form: name, phone number, and optionally a few words about your business. Providing this information is not a legal requirement, but without a name and phone number we can't get back to you.
Technical information: like any website, the servers that serve the site log basic technical data, such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed. We use aggregated statistical data about site traffic, and it does not identify a specific visitor.
How you arrived: the site stores in your browser, for 30 days, which website you first came from and which page you landed on. If you leave your details in the form, this information is sent along with your inquiry so we know how you found us.
Cookies and analytics: the site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, where they came from, and which pages they viewed. It sets statistical cookies, and we have configured it so it is not used for advertising or ad personalization. The site does not use advertising cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set technical cookies required for the site to function and to protect against attacks. Cookies can be blocked in your browser settings.
2. What the information is used for
- To get back to you following your inquiry, schedule an introductory call, and offer you a quote.
- To send you a confirmation message that your inquiry was received, by WhatsApp or at the phone number you provided.
- To manage our business relationship with you, if you choose to work with us.
- To operate the site, improve it, and keep it secure.
We won't send you marketing communications without your explicit consent, and we won't sell your information to anyone.
3. Storage and security of information
Inquiry details are kept in a private customer relationship management (CRM) system, access to which is limited to Liav Matzri and a sales representative on his behalf, for the purpose of handling the inquiry. We take reasonable security measures, including encryption in transit, access permissions, and access restrictions, to protect the information. That said, no computer system is completely immune.
4. Sharing information with third parties
We use service providers to operate the site and handle inquiries, and information may be shared with them only to the extent required:
- Hosting, infrastructure, and security providers for the site.
- The site's traffic analytics service (Google Analytics).
- The database infrastructure provider where the customer management system is stored.
- WhatsApp and email service providers, for the purpose of confirming the inquiry and updating the handling representative.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law or by order of a competent authority, or to protect our rights.
5. Storage outside Israel
Some of our service providers store information on servers outside Israel. Information transfer is carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
6. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, you may review the information held about you, and request that it be corrected or deleted if it is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated. You may also request that we stop contacting you. Requests can be sent to liavwebdesign@gmail.com.
7. Minors
The services on this site are intended for business owners over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information about minors, and if it turns out that such information was provided, we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, with the update date at the top.
